The second Tuesday of every month during the months of September through June our library offers Story Hour to children age 2-6. We meet at the library from 10-11:15 am. Our staff works diligently to instill both the love of reading and encourage all areas of learning.

Students in Middle and High school are welcome to stop by the library Tuesday-Friday to participate in the after school reading program. Staff assist in guiding the children in choosing age and reading level appropriate material. Each child will read for 15 minutes and is rewarded with up to an hour of free time on one of our library computers. Children can work on homework, browse the internet, or play games online. Progress through reading logs are kept by the library staff and once or twice a year the children who participated in over half of the reading days are rewarded.
