State-wide Library Fall Crawl
Valparaiso Public Library is one of 117 libraries across Nebraska participating in the Fall Crawl now through November 30th. You can pick up your free booklet and your first sticker right here in Val! When you do, you can enter to win a local prize. Visit at least 10 participating libraries and you will be entered for one of four grand prizes! Visit 30+ and you also get a free Fall Crawl Tote Bag. It's time for a Road Trip!
YOU be the Librarian Contest
Check out the most books in September and you can choose five titles for the Library to purchase! The patron who checks out the most books from the Adult section will pick out five new books. The family who checks out the most books in the Children's section will also select five new kids books. The contest goes from September 1 to September 30.
Escape the Virus
Can you solve the puzzle and escape the lab before the virus infects you? Our new Escape Room game for teens and adults will be available Saturdays in September, or at the desk by request during the week. Recommended age to play is 15+.
Go Big Red DOG!
We're celebrating Clifford the Big Red Dog all month long! We will have activities centered around every kid's dream pet, including a make-and-take Clifford puppet! Clifford is even the theme of this month's special BreakOut Box.
